Melantak Party

Arrghh!!! Dah pagi ke???... that's the first thoughts came into my mind when i woke up on Saturday morning. I looked at my watch, God! it's 6.30 am and i have to wake up no matter how coz I have lotsa thing to be done! Today is the day that I'm giving a nasi kerabu party. After such a happening nite at karaoke, I felt a bit tired. Mana tidaknye, melalak and tergedik tak hengat during our first karaoke session after AF season.. so, everyone was a bit over the top.. (oppsss.. later i will tell u abt my karaoke session last nite.. as for now, let's stick to the main topic - Melantak party)...

Okay, so 6.30 am, I quickly had my shower and pray and get ready to go to pasar tani. So by 7 am, I was out from the house in my mum's car (waaa.. mentang2 mama n papa takda kat umah, keta pun pakai keta diaorg..hahahha).. my brothers still in their dream world.. sigh.. how I envy them.. okay, so I arrived at the pasar tani near my house and I was a bit suprised! I was too early.. gerai2 pun belum bukak.. I whined to myself coz now I have to drive all the way to Kelana Jaya Pasar Tani. When I arrived there, the parking was full and nak tak nak, I have to park quite far from it. So, when I was at Pasar tani, I was so excited when I saw sooo many Gerais that sell fresh meat, fishes, seafood.. etc.. Actually I like to go to pasar and see lotsa fresh things.. anyway, dengan jayanye I bought all the necessary items for Melantak session and by the time I finished buy the things, then I noticed how heavy were the things.. and now I have to walk quite far to my car. So mase tu, mula la dtg perasan nak menyumpah menyeranah org.. hahahaha.. But the thought of menjamu my friends, kept that feelings at bay.. I kept telling myself, I will serve the best for my friends and I will!!..

so, when I arrived home, it was already 9.30 am so, I went to change into my cook uniform (kaftan la.. apa lagik).. and started cooking.. It's been a while since I organized thing like this.. and I was really take my own sweet time cooking with AF1's singers songs played on the radio. That would keep my spirit high.. so, here what I did..

I started with mensiang ikan.. nasib baik ikan kecil.. then rebus the fish for sambal kelapa..
Second, i started to goreng kelapa for sambal.. and later I masak nasi..
Then, I cooked the kuah (yellowish).. and then i made the sambal..
Then I prepared for Daging goreng and cooked it..
and lastly, while i potong2 the ulam, i goreng the ikan...
Finally.. goreng the kerepok..

By 12.30 pm.. I finished cooking and was about to go and take the showe when eddie called that he was on the way..I pun apa lagik, cepat2 la pergi mandi.. and change into a nicer clothes.. (after all, i am the hostess and i tak nak ler kena kutuk)..

Eddie was the first to arrived and he was such a dear.. He helped me membuang ekor taugeh (beans sprouts) while gossiping and watching TV.. and mase tu jugak, aida arrived.. since everyone akan lambat, I pun ajak la aida n eddie taste first.. and me pun lapar jugak.. and here is the photo of me n aida duk menghidang makanan...surprise, surprise.. Eddy n Aida tambah! I rasa suka sgt.. So all my my penat lelah since morning rasa berbaloi jek.. tak sabar nak tunggu the rest of the gang sampai..



About 1/2 hr later, si niza, rose n lola arrived. Waahhhh, dtg ber3 je tapi riuh macam 1 bus yg datang. They were all looked sooo hungry and straight away went to meja makan. Eddy was such a dear and he became the hostess since I need to pray and freshen up. When I came down, they were all bz eating and chatting and I seronok sgt tengok the way they all enjoyed the food.. Tak lama lepas tu, si Zed and BF dia, Rustam arrived. And apa lagik, terus la havoc.. skrang ni yg tak muncul2 were Farid, Fiza, Zaini, Ferhad and Betty.. When I looked at the rate of their eating, I was worried takut tak cukup.. but alhamdullillah.. it was just nice.. Farid n fiza came around 1 hr later and as usual la, terus attacked the food.. I lagiiii la seronok.. Segala kepenatan and kesusahan yg i rasa tadi memang terus hilang when I looked at the way they enjoyed my cooking.. Alhamdullillah... Later, Ferhad n Zaini dtg.. then followed by Betty.. At time, semua duk sebok tengok slides show yg si Rose bawa. It was fun eventhough I only managed to see Rose beloved 'papa bear' when they were on the trip to Bali.. soo romantic.. sigh..

While they enjoyed watching the slides show, me n Lola sebok menggoreng karipap and also prepared coffee. Mengada2 semua kawan2 I nie.. Only want white coffee.. and some got guts to order Capuccino, eeeii, ketuk paler baru padan muka.. hahahaah.. so, here is the photo when we were lepak2 with our coffee and karipap


See how contented we were.. and I am soooo ohhh glad that they came despite of sesat here n there.. and ada 1 of us has to suffer puctured tyre.. Sigh.. I reallly appreaciate that they came all the way to my house (my house was far).. Before I went to bed that nite, I stared up at my ceiling in the dark.. recalling the memory of the day.. Ohhh.. such a memorable day.. I love all of them..
